This is the first screen print I did. I only made one as a gift for my mom, a huge Hunter Thompson fan, for her birthday. I followed the instructions on the speedball silk screen kit to make it. For my light source, I used a basking lamp borrowed from our turtle tank, 75watts, 12″ away, for about 20 minutes. The screen itself came out perfectly. But I was skimpy on the paint because I didn’t want to overprint and blur the edges somehow. As a result, the paint on the shirt has faded a lot. That’s why there’s no picture of the shirt itself. I’ll make another one soon (totally for no profit, probably just one, so please don’t sue me!) and post it.
