Her name is “Ba as in bay,” my mom said. She likes to eat flowers and traipse through the shrubbery. She’s not at all shy about posing. She wanted to do a nude spread, and we obliged, politely neglecting to tell her she already wore no clothes. Perhaps she wanted to go sockless; but then who wants to look at a bush littered with polyfill? Anyway, I made this sock creature for my mom, who has lovingly modeled her on one of her bushes. She was the first sock creature I made from John Murphy’s Sock Creature’s book (see Leon the Corporate Sock Monster post for more information).
