What's New?

Shelved Once Again

This Summer has been chaotic, energy consuming, and just plain not fun. My mutant army is nowhere in sight. I regret that no developments have come of Mutant Creations over the past couple of months. The demands of ordinary life have once again interjected themselves with disruptive belligerence. Perhaps more progress will be made closer to December. Sadface.
A New Face, A New Mutation.

Wow! It's been almost a year since I've last updated the site. I've been a very busy person. Over the Christmas holiday, however, I was able to finalize the new logo and so the new face of Mutant Creations is taking shape. As I am slowly getting back into web development, I'm realizing just how much things have changed with the mobile revolution. Web browsers are so powerful now! There are so many things that I can do now that simply weren't possible five years ago using web standard languages. I'm stoked! In the coming months, expect all graphics to be converted into scalable vectors. This will make all visual presentation crisp-looking no matter what the size. I'll be publishing a new story in the "Consequences" section soon, and I will be working on a new "Gallery" section for my new-found love of scalable vector graphics and object-oriented illustration.

I've lately been working on fine-tuning the RSS feed (that's what you're reading right now). I've figured out how to display links. And now I can show images like the one below. Stay tuned for more boring stuff!

After having stopped the developement of ScienceFictionJournal.com for nearly three years, I found myself missing the creative outlet. MutantCreations.com will be my new home base for WORLD DOMINATI!... uh... for things of creativity. The old SFJ will be accessible through this site (more as a reminder to myelf of where this all began), and new stuff will be on the way periodically. I hope anyone who happens to stumble upon this little corner of the web will find some sort of amusement. Keep it surreal.
